Meet the groomers!
Sophie
I am one of the two head groomers and co-owners at K9 Pet Grooming Nazeing and Ongar. I am fully qualified and passionate groomer with the ability to perform at an experienced level of pet grooming. I am very committed to my trade and I believe that as a professional groomer I will never stop learning.
I began pet grooming in 2008 where I started as a Saturday girl in a popular local salon in Harlow. Whilst working there I attended Writtle college and received my City and Guilds level 3 in dog grooming. Once I had completed the qualification I started full time at the salon where I learnt all I could and decided to start competing. I went on to compete at crufts and won ykc groomer of the year in 2013. I have 3 dogs of my own 1 pug and 2 chihuahuas but love all dogs of all sizes

I am the co-owner at K9 Pet Grooming and Groomer of both Ongar and Nazeing. I have always been very passionate in all kinds of animals having previously owned horses and currently owning three large dogs. I started my career off studying to become a vet nurse, but decided to follow my passion in pet grooming. I have been grooming for 10 years and am especially passionate in big dogs and less co operative dogs and enjoy a challenge!

Hi I’m Lucy!
I started at k9 pet grooming back in 2016 as a Saturday girl after I did my work experience and loved the salon. I then started my training in the salon and at college where I got my level 2 and level 3 in dog grooming and now a full time groomer I have loved dogs all my life big or small and have had many dogs most of which were older rescue dogs.
